24-7 Enters Relationship with Student Leadership University
Opens opportunities for Journey achievers to develop as Christian leaders with SLU
Awana is reaching outside its walls
to work with like-minded organizations. The goal of
these ministry relationships is simple: to reach and
train more young people for Christ than ever before.
One new mutual relationship is with
Student Leadership University. SLU is for students ages
14 to 20 who are committed to sharpening their God-given
talents as leaders in order to radically change the
world.
At four- to eight-day intensive training
sessions in such cities as Orlando, San Antonio, London,
Paris and Rome, students engage in college-level classroom
instruction and structured activities that are focused
on global leadership, godly character and Christian
worldview development.
SLU
training is about expanding leadership capabilities
and preparing youth to make a difference as tomorrow’s
leaders, equipping you to offer solutions to the ever-growing
challenges of society. In short, SLU is not for the
faint of heart. Its mix of lecture teaching, interactive
workshops, leader training and edutainment experiences
is geared for students who believe God is calling them
to serve Him at the forefront of modern culture.
SLU offers a unique opportunity for
24-7’s highest-achieving students to be mentored
and motivated to seek lives of excellence for the kingdom
as they transition into adulthood. For more information
on SLU, visit the Student
Leadership Web site or contact
24-7 Ministries today.
In the meantime, 24-7 and SLU will
continue to build their new ministry relationship and
look for other ways to work together to engage and energize
youth. Stay tuned to the 24-7 Web site as details come
available.
