Volunteer Information
Kim Thomas is coordinating Summit volunteers. The volunteer office
will be on the third floor of the Hyatt in the Orlando Room. You
can contact her at summit@awana.org or (630) 213-2000.
Not only will you get the blessings of serving, you will also receive
a free T-shirt and free admission to Summit events! Note: You will
need to cover your own transportation, hotel and meals when not volunteering.
Volunteer Registration
Step 1: Complete a Summit
volunteer form and an Awana volunteer application.
Step 2: Get cleared through a background screening.
Step 3: Pass a child protection certification test.
Step 4: Attend the team breakfast and volunteer orientation.

Risk Management and Child Protection
Each volunteer must pass the Awana risk management and child protection
certification by February 24, 2008. For
more information on this process, please contact your Awana missionary
or Kim Thomas (information above).
